every once in a while you should pop the hood and make sure your intake is intact, i opened my hood the other day and my filter was about to fall off, the hose clamp had become loose. im sure most of you made this like nawarkk did with pvc, and the homedepot clamps, and i dont think this stuff is engine rated, it may become loose over time.

I used a 3" coupler from siliconeintakes.com and I don't have any issues with the cone sagging or falling off. I did this a while ago, can't remember. Funny how I stumbled across the same cone as the author

I have an 04+. The coupler is short enough that it becomes very rigid once it's forced on between the MAF and TB. I used the Spectre adapter ring deal on the actual MAF. For the sensor I just drilled a smaller hole than the sensor itself and let the silicone fold around it once it was shoved in. No leaks. Anyways, very sturdy and no issues on my part. Hope that helps other 04+

Here's an image of my first iteration while I was waiting for the mail to bring the coupler...it had the saggy/falling off issue after just a week
