    Nawarkk, Does your filter need to be oiled?

    Also, what size coupler do I need? 4" on both sides?

    Thanks, J.

    The filter I used, is on you have to oil. You can use any filter you like.

    the coupler I used was I believe 3 1/2, but since it was rubber it stretched over the throttle body, and pvc pipe. Made it so it had a tight fit then.

    Nope, just make it short enough to not hit the overflow tank.

    Nawarkk, what paint did you use for the pvc pipe?

    Going to the store today. So a 3.5" coupler fits over a 3" pvc pipe? I think the coupler used by the op is called a 3" coupler but in reality is 3.5".

    I installed today, everything went good. I used;

    Spectre 9732 Filter
    3" rubber coupler (actually 3.5")
    4" band clamp+3" band clamp
    3" 45 degree pvc pipe elbow.

    Then cut the bottom piece off the stock air intake to set the pcm on so it wouldn't flop around. Filter fit good but was tight (hits cross beam and pcm)

    Hope to have pics up soon. Thanks for the help.

    Justin

    make holes for em and set them in there...or get a grommet that fits it, and install it in your piping...

    Just get a 4" coupler and tighten it down on the TB.... probably easier to find than a 3.5 - 4" coupler and it will accomplish the same thing

    3.5" Couper on the TB is the way to go guys.

    Or a 4" if you have a larger TB...such as the Billet ZZP, N*, or LS1
