Nawarkk, Does your filter need to be oiled?
Also, what size coupler do I need? 4" on both sides?
Thanks, J.
i'm a chef, so i worked my good hunting knife in order to fit the iat inside the center of the cone
so for my project i leave the coupler with the plug connectors

I have a 97 gtp if I built this CAI system would I have to move my coolant overflow?
Alright thanks guys.
Yuppers.
mine pictured above is a 97 gtp
Do you guys have any good ideas on a downpipe?
Nawarkk, what paint did you use for the pvc pipe?
Going to the store today. So a 3.5" coupler fits over a 3" pvc pipe? I think the coupler used by the op is called a 3" coupler but in reality is 3.5".
I installed today, everything went good. I used;
Spectre 9732 Filter
3" rubber coupler (actually 3.5")
4" band clamp+3" band clamp
3" 45 degree pvc pipe elbow.
Then cut the bottom piece off the stock air intake to set the pcm on so it wouldn't flop around. Filter fit good but was tight (hits cross beam and pcm)
Hope to have pics up soon. Thanks for the help.
Justin
what do you do with the plugs and wires that plug into the intake?
putting a 3in to 4in coupler on the TB SUCKED DICK ASS VAGINA PENIS. i suggest getting a 3.5in to fit over the TB.
Just get a 4" coupler and tighten it down on the TB.... probably easier to find than a 3.5 - 4" coupler and it will accomplish the same thing
I found a 4" on the tbody is way to huge
3.5" Couper on the TB is the way to go guys.
Or a 4" if you have a larger TB...such as the Billet ZZP, N*, or LS1
Here's my intake. (very similiar to nawarkk's) finally got some pics.
