Hey i am trying to figure out why im getting such low timing. How do people see 18* with a 3.4 gen3 or 3.6 gen5?
My a/f is 10.5-11.0 wot boost is around 10-11 and im seeing like 11-13*. Kr sometimes hits 1-2 at shifts or 3rd gear.
Seems like something isnt right and i should be able to get more out of this car.

Im also noticing latly the car randomly bogs down and up like its falling on its face when cruising at like 2k rpm. Put brand new delphi maf in and same results.

Is the torque converter not unlocking and that's why it feels dead?

Your fueling shouldn't be in the 10s either.

Your car is stock apart from headers. Not that much to take advantage of. Intercooler or cam would be the only worthwhile mods to look into next. As for why it's not running right, there could be a million and one different reasons.

So when you see 11-13* of timing, do you see any KR as well? If not, that's all that is being commanded. Thank your tuner for that. If you see KR, again, your tuner should have suggested a larger pulley or that your car was in poor mechanical condition and required service before a smaller pulley.

IIRC we tried more timing and the car knocked like mad.
You were also getting massive part throttle knock, so I backed cruise timing down a bit and it went away.
If you want to bring it down I'll be happy to see if it'll take more timing.

With stock cam and rockers would see a lot of part throttle kr with agressive cruise timing...I'm sitting on 13* timing wot with my xp header car on 3.3...prob could push it out a little farther but kinda playing it safe for now...stock rockers and cam with 11.7 afr didn't really like much more then 13* would starting getting kr

Car is starting to bog down even more. Im kind of thinking fuel pump. When the car bogs my afr go to 17+. I was getting this befor i blew my old trans and replaced it with this 112k junkyard unit including converter. This trans pulls great.

I didnt really think i had fueling issues at the time. My fuel pressure tester isnt long enough to be able to go for a drive but my fuel pressure at idle is more than perfect. Think ima get a nice electronic one for my empty gauge pod and also upgrade the fuel pump. Anyone have any recommendations for both? Also i want a non venturi seeing im an 04+ right with the returnless system?

find a long hose for the tester. pop it out the hood, then drive it.

Have you pulled your plugs yet to verify lean conditions?

Huh? I wasnt calling Nick out at all..... I was just stating the fact that the car seems like something isnt right mechanically and could probly see alot more timing because of....

On a second note, weirdest **** ever. So i pulled the pump and figured ide put direct power to it to test it and it worked even though the fliters were dirty as ****. So i put it back in and pump still wouldnt turn on so i tested my power wire and noticed that somehow my fuel pump fuse fell out..... How does that happen lol? I have the most random worst luck. But i got a delphi pump coming and ima replace the stock unit anyway looking at those fliters. I tried cleaning them with brake clean but didnt really do ****. Car is still bogging down. Ima pull plugs and check them to see if they are getting fouled because im running 104s and seeing 10-11 afr.
How can i tell if the torque converter is in fact not unlocking? I see there is torque converter slip on my aeroforce but when im scanning it and the car bogs there really isnt any change.

Thankyou. So should it stay at a steady 60-62 psi?

No because boost works against what the fuel pump is trying to output
