in my 97, the RKE (remote keyless entry) module sits behind the DIC, on top of the air duct:


and, in adition, my Service Parts ID label (lists alll the RPO codes on the car) points to AU0 (thats a zero) as the "Lock Control, Remote Entry)

your 2000 may be the same, though there are a few other RPO codes that could mean the same. if you wanted, you could take a pic of your SPID label (either on the underside of the trunk lid, or perhaps on the spare tire cover) and post it, we can decode the RPO codes for ya.
