I'm voting BillBoost for prez in 2012. I used my corner light as you described and sure enough it lit up for about 2 seconds when I keyed the car on. I plugged the pump back in and tapped on it a few times. My car started but died after 1 second, 1 time. After that it would not start again, not even for a second. All this points me to believe the fuel pump is toast. I'm about to order one from zzp (their 255 lph pump is $129, and advance auto told me a boring stock one was $250 form them lol) Do I need to get the fuel line tool? I'm going to replace the fuel filter as well. My car has 160K miles and I don't know the last time it was done if ever. Thanks again for the help yall, I really wouldn't have been able to get this done without ya.
