so the project is about complete, im waiting on one more fitting but everything is all routed and one side is done, the return line is almost done.
i chose to keep my setup fairly stock looking, utilizing all but one of those gray line connectors due to it being in the way of me feeding my lines upward. i cut off the plastic portions of the fuel lines only and went from there. this keeps it factory looking. i already tested the pressure line for leaking and it was perfect on that end.
i cant stress enough that when you add these fittings USE small amounts of oil to coat the threads on the aluminum, also do not use teflon tape. tighten down the fittings until they are tight dont overdue it, just until they feel snugged ( using wrenches and not your hands of course )
this isnt a hard mod to do, the lines themselves if you do it my way can be a bit tricky to maneuver so expect a lot of cussing, but in the end its very worth it for looks and safety issues concerning the factory lines. here are some pics of the procedure.
