I agree with this statement. I have 2001 Crown Vic Police Interceptor with v8 240 hp, 276 tq. Throw 6 psi and make over 315+ Whp. I agree N/A stock 4.6L's are a joke. But once you modify or boost it's a whole different story. I'm pretty sure my Pretty much stock CV would Eat my pretty much stock Regal Gs on top end. the 4.6's are low compression and LOVE boost. with out boost tho there not doing much. ive seen plenty of people dump loads of money into the 4.6 na and hardly get any power. but on the other hand boost it like a termi and batta bing batta boom. and 2v's can make comparable power to a 4v when boosted.
but stock, yes the 4.6's are turds. the best thing about it is these kids that have them dont know that and i end up showing them tail lights alot
