My regal Gs ran a 14.81 on bald tires with nothing more than a CAI and GP stock dual mufflers. I think the regal would pull from a dead stop, and the cv would own it past 100 mph, i've had the CV up to about 135 mph.

as for the Mustang S/C i think i should've clarified i was talking about turbo numbers. Turbo's for the most part make more hp per boost from what i have seen. Turbo > Supercharger

also wanted to add that the CV is about 600-800lbs more than a mustang gt 96-04

Whatever you say, I'm not going to argue with you.

Not sure if this was aimed at me or not. But i'm just speaking about the cars that i have. Could be different for other vehicles as they are all different. I have never raced my CV vs my Regal so i can't say for sure, but i do have slips for the regal showing my times. I'm getting ready to swap a 2005 4.6L 2v into the CV as 2000-2002 were the failure yrs for Crown Vic engines. I'll try to get it down to the track in april. /End Thread jack

Heads won't flow enough and you will probably lose a rod or piston trying to reach that goal. But, still, 400RWHP was crazy fast. Too bad the car never made it home from the shop though. RIP
I'm sure this was running low 12's at the least right? probably ran 11's all day long may be even high 10's. Considering i've seen modded n/a CVPI's running mid to low 13's all day with 300rwhp and about 320rwtq. Cam, 3600 Stall 11' TC, 3.73/ 4.10 gears, 80mm Maf, Dyno tune, Shorty headers, Drag radials, and maybe a few other things i'm forgetting. No Boost No Spray

Police Interceptors aren't made to be rockets.

They are made to out-last you in a chase, they can maintain that 130 for extended periods of time.

lmfao, mid to low 12s if it could hook up. Traction was a serious issue. These cars a heavy so it takes more and more to start squeezing into the 11s, so 11's? Not quite. 10's? Not a chance in hell.

With that many mods someone has spent alot of money to get there 4.6 2v or 4v whatever is in the cv in the 13's. I would rather spent the money and swap in a 32v out of a mark 8 or something or buy a maruder. Whatever my dd before the gtp was a lincoln towncar with 276,xxx they last forever and are heavy. CV's too and I still would not be afraid of one top end.

I raced a newer 06-08 ish GT mustang from a roll in 80 degree weather must of had some work to it to I stood no chance. Then again in anything warmer than 70 my car loses a lot of hp and its very noticable guess its not breathing well enough. This summer that wont be the problem once I do my exhaust work and get my ram air hood.

Or just buy an interceptor and put some performance parts on it. :P There are a bunch of them for sale around here for less than 6k canadian with the police motor and trans.

I agree, I'm just going to swap in low mileage motor (45k miles) and turbo it, Build the motor and trans and call it a day * Police Interceptor*. I would like to get my Regal into 13's, CV in the 11's or high 10's, And the MX6 for AutoX use (already tuned for cornering ). I'll probably just sell the Taurus :P

Also my old 1991 Grand Prix Se has wrapped the speedo around before, no gps to confirm top speed.

I would s/c the crown vic. Is your MX6 a v6? There was one for sale around here a while ago that I would have liked to have gotten that had less than 200,000 kms on it and was 5 spd.
