you have to realize that these cars are 10+ years old. they break because they are nearing the end of their lives on pretty much all parts on the car. stuff doesnt last forever.

besides, nickle and dime-ing you to death is better than a $15k car. its way cheaper.

$276 MAF
$400 in struts at least
$12 S/C oil
$8 everytime i need a S/C gasket
$50 per O2 sensor
$15 radiator hoses
$30 motor mount
$40 tranny mount
$30 tranny lines
$20 for new spark plugs every 5-6k
$70 front brake pads
$100+ everytime the HUD that nvr works ****s up
$105 each taillight

Sure some of that can be considered maintenance but the point is for the price of nicke & dime-ing you could've had yourself that 15K car...
