All of the problems you mention having on your car are pretty common for an older car. Window motors go bad in just about every car. The only issue that is a big deal I see from yours is having to rebuild the transmission which isn't that uncommon at 100k+ miles either. The only thing I would say makes these cars a crap car is the interior. I've known a lot of people with Pontiacs and they seem to have interiors that fall apart a lot. The engine itself is a great engine. My family has owned four different cars with the 3800 engine in them, two LeSabres and two Park Aves. Three of them made it to over 300k miles with no major engine issues and the other one to 275 before we had any problem at all with it. Just depends on what issues you want to deal with I suppose.
