the only thing you may want to change is the hose clamps that come with the rubber coupler and get 2 new ones from a auto parts store.

Open cone is a type of filter.

Just make one like they have on here. Pick what style you want, its not going to be bad for the car.

Mine is tucked tight to the rad support/coolant reservoir with a homemade bracket holding it down...it doesn't look bad surprisingly.

It'll be next weekend at earliest. I never took a pic of it because the wiring wasn't finished next to it.

Thanks newarkk, I finally got mine done. I hope the image uploaded because im having a really hard time figuring out how to do it. It keeps telling me files are too large evn tho im doing it thru photoshop.

Mine is a 2006..Also idk if I can mount the iat sensor in the pvc piping because then its before the maf sensor. Pardon my stupid queation but I didnt know if thatd be an issue because on the stock intake it was maf then the iat. My cone is a 4 inch so I couldn't switch them ariund as far as tb size and maf size. This is the only way it would work.

Thats because you need to copy the IMG CODE and then paste it with your reply no need to attach anything. your pic will show up just fine. As far as your IAT sensor it dosent matter post or pre maf but ideally youd want it close to the cone filter so it has the coldest air moving over it.
