How many volts should be going to the injectors with engine off key on. I tested cylinder 3 injector and it was at 5.9 volts but so was cylinder 5

Changed plug back to stock heat range and not even the slightest difference in misfire count. I have a spare icm harness im going to swap out next. Its a long shot but when i did first start it i forgot to plug it in all the way and the motor died cause it popped out. Maybe something got shorted since it was loose?

Why won't you just do a compression test? It's easy to do

The compression test is on its way i decided to just take a day off and stop messing with stuff. I have thursday off and my dad already has a tester so on thursday im just going to borrow his.

It killed me the first couple days but ive thought it out. I just purchased a dhp tuner off a member here so that i can atleast get this kr to 0 so i dont cause anymore damage. I figure if its a chipped piston the damage is already Done and ill probably just drive it with a small compression leak. If its a not sitting valve ill pull the head and have a valve job done at a shop this time.

Well i appreciate all the help from everyone! 1200 posts later and i almost have a fully running topswap lmao. Does there happen to be a dhp thread for beginners i tried googling it and found a lot of dhp threads but not one for beginners.

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/npa8brtuzoq3qps/jqYuBP0cv- your new bible for tuning. bottom folder "Tuning Guides and worksheets"
theres jerrys tuner hand book. look for that in there.
pm me your email, ill email you another one called "tuner rev." it reads a lot like jerrys but does not use the eddies table modifier thingy. it teaches you how to make adjustments on your own.
ive used that eddies program, its good for when you dont trust your self yet.
I was reading througg jerrys guide and made it 3 pages and now my mind is all twisted and confused lol. Hopefully i can find some youtube videos haha

So just to start off i need to work on learning the maf and timing tables the most just to get my kr to 0 and then i can fine tune and add timing as i go?

the first thing you will need to do is get the dhp tuner, download the software, and get the software registered so you can read your bin. once you have your bin read, you can look at your good fuel timing table, and take a few degrees of timing out. then reload that bin and take a scan. I suggest using UV Scan, the newest one is the best, but whichever one you can get to work is fine. Eddies Table modifier thingy is a really good tool for making adjustments. I would start off reading the instructions on using the table modifier thingy, so when you go take a scan, you are scanning for all the parameters you need to make a good adjustment.
