Had my best week since I started keeping track. Didn't even bother posting last week cause I was pissed about how little I lost but this week I went from 314.2 down to 310.3 and dropped 1.7 inches.

iirc you tend to lose lots of water mass at first.
so the losses should lessen as time goes on.
1 lb per week is supposed to be safe
or
500 calories per day.
That's debatable though. With as much as I'm working out it's normal for some people to loose that much per week if they still have plenty of weight on them. I'm usually in the gym 6 days a week for an hour at least and even while strength training I keep my heart rate above 140. Plus I'm drinking close to a gallon a day if not more of water.
Not drinking any soda, usually a glass or 2 of 1% white milk a day. and Hardly any fast food. I'm eating enough that I'm not hungry but not overly full and I'm at least having a snack between each meal. Usually a banana or protein bar. I haven't figured up any foods for the last 3 weeks but I'm probably sticking to around 1,800 to 2,000 calories per day.
THere's one lady that goes to the gym that's dropped 80lbs over the last 3 to 4 months.
Fair enough.
All Bran + vector.... so tasty.
Put in one of the hardest workouts of my life tonight. Ran for 10 minutes, eliptical for 15 minutes, and heavy shoulders chest and arms work for an hour and a half. Couldn't hardly stand afterwards. But I'm already feeling great and renewed energy.
Not really a new year resolution but since may of 2010 I've gone from 230 to 180. Haven't had fast food or pop at all since then. It gets easier, not alot tho, still smells good. lol
Had a very good week this week. Dropped nearly 5 pounds. Went from 309.4 last week to 304.6 this week. I'd love to see 29x this time next week but I doubt that'll happen. Seems like I go in cycles where I won't hardly loose anything one week but then will drop like crazy the next.
Also for any body wondering how I'm weighing myself. I do it every Tuesday morning before I eat breakfast. Place the scales on the same spot on the floor and weigh a minimum of 5 times and take the average.
I was just gonna post in here to bring this to the top and see how everyone was doing with their resolutions. Good work with the progress, benner.
I'm enjoying getting back into lifting; finally back to where it doesn't hurt for days after anymore (seems to take me longer every time I take it back up) and strength hit a definite increase. Forgot to check if there was a weight change (probably an increase, since I haven't been running).
im still being lazy. need to start soon.
290
first workout in months will be today....
Well it's been a really long 2 weeks. Haven't been feeling good lately so I'm taking it easy. Only hit the gym maybe 3 days each week. But I've still lost 4 pounds the last 2 weeks and am down to 299lbs. Another 60lbs by summer and I'll be happy.
started working out consistently again. i weighed in at 250.x before i left the gym yesterday. i will be working out three days a week: monday, wednesday, and either saturday or sunday depending upon which night ends up being my big drinking night.
we'll see where this goes. really im not trying to lose weight, but i just want to be in more shape and fit my clothes a little better.
Not really losing any weight...
Instead I'm staying a consistent 160-165 as of late. Looking to put on some mass and get bigger.
Ordered some BSN Syntha 6 protein and Jack3d for a pre-workout that should be here today. :high5:
i well....... umm....... i guess i should start huh?
i have been losing a bit of weight. ive just cut out common things here and there. for instance i drink my coffee black now. no fast food or soda. im working on better sleeping habbits and am trying to consistanly have breakfast, evan if it is just a scoop of protien in some water.
Had my best week yet this week. Started last Tuesday at 297.6 and weighed in today at 292.0
So since December 7th when I officially started working out and watching what I eat I've lost 25 pounds. About 30 in total from my heaviest.
Also lost just over an inch with all measurements combined. Hoping to see 250 by early to mid summer. Even still I feel so much better about myself and stamina with everyday things. I can actually run more than 100 feet without getting winded now. Cant wait for warmer weather so I can stand to go for a short run. Also ready for bike rides.
Also haven't had any pop/soda since December 7th and limited junk food. Haven't really had many cravings either.
ive been trying to stay consistant with going to the gym. havent really lost any weight, but that isnt the point of what im doing. i do feel better physically and mentally than i have a month or two ago so that's good.
Just started lifting again last night after being sick. I was miserable after that workout. But I feel kickass today. Especially since I apparently didn't lose any strength over the past couple weeks - what a relief.
You're really lucky then. My gym partner was out of commission for a month with a broken hand and has lost a lot of strength and stamina. He was 145 and could run circles around me in terms of strength in most areas, but since he's been out of it he's struggled to keep up with me.
I was out for a week sick and noticed strength loss.
it takes a month to make up what you lose in a week.
Oh, but I lost my recovery speed. Boy am I hurting now! Haha
