PRJ's were a thought. im just trying to find someone with them that might be able to get me deminsions of them. I need that to measure how far/close i am to the intake and if can use them properly without any modification to the rail itself. i would hate to spend that kind of money and not be able to put it to use.

As for the cowl issue, i either would need to lower the K member somehow, buy a new K member that is built 1 inch lower, or cut into the lower portion of the cowl and risk losing my windshield wipers. right now im thinking of dropping the K member about .5-1 inch, and cutting a little out of the cowl to make the extra room. that way i know i can keep my wipers. Of course it sounds easier than it really could be to get done, but i figured i need to start somewhere and be a little optimistic about it

motor mounts are already pretty small, if i were to modify the stock mounts, i wouldnt be able to gain .25 inch.

Depending on the space you have on top, which doesnt seem too be too much I would look at getting a hat and putting on top or depending on on your fab abilities putting an inlet between the snout and rotors.

well, yeah, they do have a FMIC setup, but making it fit for us would be a pain in the ass to say the least.

besides, non-intercooled is the way to go.

because you dont have all the crap that comes along with trying to intercool it.

with your car i would run cam only.

The M90s from ford were IC'd from the factory. If Ford can do it back in 1989 we should be able to do it with the aftermarket items available today. There are 02 V8s Camaros IC'd have to be able to IC a V6.

With the engine that far back it has to help with weight transfer and center of gravity.

I hear this is a good site for maro's but I have never used their info. www.camaroz28.com www.ls1tech.com is a great site if you just want to see some mounting options.

Put a 6.0L Diesel IC in mine, so with time, patience and some $ it will fit. That setup is very tight though, but it can be done. If you use the M90 case from a Ford it would be a lot of work on the TB end, but it would just require swapping out some pins on the front of the case to add the GP snout. Too much work for what me, but if you are interested that is an IC route.

Ive seen that intercooler routing and have looked into something like that. i might have more issue though with the room i have and the fitment/fabrication needed. i didnt want to get that far into it. Thank you for the input.

But if it is a waste to intercool an M90 with a cam, i would like to know before i spend $1000 on one

I know that I am too lazy to change the status on it, but here are picts of the car before i passed it along.

    Garages > merlin's 1996 Chevrolet Camaro RS - FQuick.com

The FMIC wouldnt work because of the inlet and outlet of the intercooler plate. most of the aussies have issues with tuning as well. Who needs another headache.
    Engineering the impossible.
