I am having a weird issue with my interior lighting. When you open the door, the dome lights do not come on, nor do the lights in the doors. The dome lights will come on when you press the button and the bulbs in the door lights test good. The lights under the dash do come on. This seemed to happen when I had the interior apart and replaced the dome light/sunroof switch assembly. I have tried switching back to the original one, but no change. Any ideas?

Ok, another question then. When the dimmer switch below the headlight switch is rotated all of the way to the right, the interior lights should turn on, including the overhead lights. Does it also turn on the lights in the doors?

Yup. All the way right does everything. Map lights, front floor lights, front door lights, and rear overhead lights.

I thought so. However, only the lights under my dash come on when I do this. I know there is a junction behind the passenger side B pillar cover. This connects the roof harness to the harness that runs under the carpet. It also has the backup lights in it. Because my backup lights work, I suspect this connection is good. I am betting there is another connection somewhere that connects the floor harness to the dash harness. Anyone know where this is?

In case anyone else has this problem, I found the solution. If you remove the passengers sill plate, you will find the main harness run it split loom. Towards the front of the of the door, remove the harness from the split loom. There is a butt splice in there. Mine fell apart in my hands. I cut the wire back and installed a new butt splice and now all is well.

Glad you got it fixed. No lights sucks. Especially since the days are getting shorter.
