Not sure. It was a noticeable click noise when steering back and forth. It was at the same point of the steering wheel in both directions. I'm not sure what that would be...

I will certainly check the fluid. Why would the transmission whine like that? When I stopped really hard after cornering and went to accelerate, it did clunk pretty hard into gear and then the whining started. I don't know why, but I didn't think that was related. I would guess the fluid isn't low but could the transmission still whine like that from the driving conditions I put it through, even with the right amount of fluid? And why would it do it revving in neutral?
