    I heard its harder to drop an engine in with headers already on, than actually installing them with the engine in the car.

    ive seen pics, truth is it does look easier to put the headers on first then slide the engine in. those hoist attachments that allow you to tilt the engine were used tho.

    I just threw the rear header behind the motor when i dropped my motor in.
    98 GTP modded 1.9's, sd headers, 3.4", zzp 1.0 230K miles scrapped.
    04 Comp G zzp stb's, UMI ta's, Speedbuilt sways, bully flo heads, XP, zzp headers, fsic, thrasher shift kit, 60#, 2.6" corsa 2.5", Inferno hood
    01 gt z7 turbo tep trans zzp motor
    08 g8 gt cam exhaust 11.87@118

    Just buy the sd headers and a 3" weld in cat from zzp. You can weld it in with a regular wire feed even though its stainless. You will need to do the fouler trick with the rear o2 because ANY cat other then the factory cat will set a p0420 catalist inefficiency and you will fail emissions. Thats ok though because the fouler trick costs 3$. Later on when you get further into modding you can delete the rear o2 codes and then replace the rear o2 with a wideband for tuning.
