    Scott..would take 5 minutes and a relay.

    I don't believe you'd have room in the mirrors for that beast, those are pretty big. If you want to wire up the puddles, nab the door light circuit and get it into the mirror before you button the panels up. That way you can just pop the mirror out and you are done.

    why would i need a relay? ive ran powers sockets right off the battery with a in line fuse, its straight 12 volts.

    my plan was to run a wire with a add a fuse from the fuse box, to the socket, leave the factory ground on it. plug XM into it and drop in in the console. done deal. no more wires hanging out. and it turns off with the car.
