I read something about replacing bolts... Are these the bolts that get replaced?
FEL-PRO Part # ES74033
do these come out during this job? I don't think so right?

you dont need them. you wont be removing those bolts.
the "upper" and "lower" orings on the injectors are the same size. when you pull the fuel rail, the injectors will still be attached only showing the "lower" orings. those are usually all you have to replace. if you want to be extra cautious like Bill mentioned then remove the injectors from the fuel rail and replace the "upper" orings. but you dont have to. the fuel rail is not hard to pull off and so you can replace them if they ever start to leak. thats up to you. thats what i personally would do because like i said its not hard. and i'm cheap so if i can save 5 bucks then i'll do it.
all coolant elbows are cheap. theyre 5 bucks. if you're doing the job yourself these are going to break when you take them out.
which btw, are you doing this or are you having that shop i told you about do it?
That shop did give me a price, which wasn't bad, but my local mechanic was able to match it.. $400.00
I was wondering if the elbows from the dealer were better...

I've had both sitting here in front of me at the same time. Personally I've never been able to tell a difference.
yeah if your up to spending another 60 dollars lol.
its good insurance if you ask me.
you need thread sealant for the 4 long bolts, they go into the water jacket of the block and can leak if not resealed. not sure if the intake bolts on a N/A needs sealant, the s/c does.
Well now 'd have to pay shipping again... how long do water pumps last? If I don't replace it now are they expensive to replace later? A lot of labor involved?
I see 2 of them on rockato...
Acdelco part# 252693 for $28.00
And acdelco part # for 251718 for $89.00. Is this a heavy duty?
Then they say they don't come with mounting bolts. What number is that?

i got one from my local parts store, like 60 bucks with a new gasket included.
1 st tip, break the 4 WP pulley bolts loose first, before you take the belt off, you need to unbolt the power steering pump and move it to the side to get to one bolt on the WP, and the lower idler pulley for the s/c by the crank also needs to come off so you can get to a bolt as well. its t50 torx socket. make sure you cleaned off all the old gasket material from the timing cover, use a razor if need be to scrape it clean, the 4 long bolts of the wp need thread sealant on the or they can leak coolant.

So since I have a mechanic do this stuff... is it expensive to replace typicaly. How much labor is involved? Do I need new bolts? And what are the part numbers? My mechanic should know about the sealeant right? Is this convienent to replace sine I am doing the other things or not really? I want to see if I can lump this in with the other repairs..
So what's the difference with the parts I listed?
