I thought it was funny.
swiggles, not only did you post on this thread to answer what i was looking for, you posted on another thread to get me here, and i'm pretty sure you answered the same question. you're awesome dude. and those headlights are sexy. and so are the rims. are they 17s or 18s?
powerstroker - 210,000 isn't that much. i had an S-10 with 190,000 and i'm pretty sure it's still going, wherever it is. my buddy had an F-150 that blew a transmission, my mom had an econoline that had the tensioner pulley lock up and snapped the belt, my dad had a 66 Fairlane that caught on fire one night... but i'll let that one go because that had some kinda built up motor in it, he hasn't talked about it in awhile. i did just buy my mom a thunderbird recently, it was ok for like 2 months before it had a miss in the motor. mechanic said it had delco plugs in it though, so that probably had something to do with it lol.
meanwhile, i ramped my grand prix into a cornfield last year, drove it out, and it hasn't been in a shop since with no prolems, knock on woodnot to hijack the thread or anything, but juss sayin haha.
Pulling the fuse worked for me on my '99. That was a nice easy remedy to a bad situation (automatic lights are a bad deal in my opinion). I think I'll look into the DRL mod, though, to run through the parking lights.
Yeah plus I am retarded and at night I would just leave my headlight switch off (because they were on anyways) little did I know all the lights are on with the exception of the license plate lights, and thats a really fast way to get pulled over in my city.
