I Never said stock vs stock, thats first thing, i was talking about the mpg of a modern decently powerful 4cyl vs a vette which has amazing power but by the time you go around the corner and back tanks up. second my gt is quick dont get me wrong, but i can tell you i have gotten torn apart by a factory modded TC and looked in shock when the new SI went flying past me like the concord mods i dunno prolly a little tinker under the hood, and i know that the gas surge was not over night i never said that either, but you take all of your factories and put the breaks on to say no gas is up stop production make more efficient cars, its not gonna stop, the gas rose too fast for ford gm or DC to react, meanwhile the big 3 jap companies who are already making perfomance and luxury 4cyl cars were avalaible cheaper more efficient and the ones now pretty damn good looking. As for them making all the same kind of car/truck each auto maker does it. GM is the father brand such as ford, they make cars/trucks that are the same as the parent car/truck, the Grand Prix(pontiac) the Monte Carlo ( chevy) the Fusion (ford) the Milan (murcury) the Accord (Honda) the TSX (Acura) the 350Z(nissan) G35(infinity)not sure what the match ups between toyota and lexis are but they follow the same thing for the amount of brands they have they make cars to suit and it so happens with GM making the HUGE trucks they do INC Hummer had to make 3 HUGE trucks per brand and then the Hummer line. and ok ONE kill post from 2008 way before i even got here, there is no shame in posting a loss, having respect for the cars and work put into them is one thing being able to admit it, and just proclaiming how great a car is just because you/we own one, yeah i will have respect for my car and i will race just about ANYTHING on the road, but i will admit to the loss and have respect for the car even if its a 4 banger with nos, and not just say i dont drive slow cars, cause my statment is correct, a pontiac grand prix GT is not the fastest car on the road, its quick but there are others with smaller engines modded or not that are faster.
