some one else's lies? I get the numbers and analize numbers thats what i do for a living, its called research and doing homework before you speak, yes it does have to do with how someone drives, however the NEW stickers are more accurate than the old ones, the old stickers said my explorer would get 18 mpg city with the 4.0l V6, its tuned up, driven mostly on highway and according to the average i get about 16-17 mixed on a good week, and according to the sticker that IS the manual one, the auto gets 14city, now if you can Manipulate a G8 and get 23city out of her from a base sticker of 15 then damn amazing, but then your babying the car and not driving it the way its meant to be driven, i see it with my GP, i drive it good easy on the gas and i ca get about 125 by the time i hit 3/4 of a tank, the second im in a rush and driving the car the way it was meant to be driven, im at 1/2 a tank and 140-150 miles, The one thing that still gets me, is the comment bio made of " I dont drive slow cars", and this crap going back and forth about the SI, the Stock GTP is rated with a 1/4 mile time of 14.9 as per the post above, the SI get 15.22 1/4 mile time, not THAT MUCH FASTER than a stock GTP, and i think that statements such as that are BS, if your an Auto Enthusist your response should be, damn thats pretty quick, not i dont drive slow cars.

Get over the stickers. Jesus Christ. They are a estimate. And even if you are so "sticker" knowledgeable, then why don't you tell me how they even say "This is a estimate. Some drivers will get more like this XX-XX." Something is wrong with your GT GP then. I have a heavily modded GTP even with GEARS (mods in sig) and I get about 100-130 out of a 1/4 tank and get around 200-250 for my 1/2 tank. Guess it is all of that power you have burning all that gas.

LOL, MY GTP w/ 170,000 miles w/ 3.29s and a 3,000 stall got 30-31 mpg on the highway 2 weekends ago on a road trip out of town. I drove about 75 mph most of the way (sneeking up to 80 now and then, momma was with me though).

I'll have to say, of my whole lifetime of buying cars, I NEVER have EVER factored in "gas mileage" into buying a vehicle, I could give a **** less honestly. When the damn car needs gas, go to the damn gas station and fill the SOB up. I drive 3 vehicles which all require 91+ octane, you never hear me *****. Granted 2 of them easily get 30 mpg without any troubles, the other one ain't quite as friendly. I'm not a rich man, i'm an average working man like everyone else here, i've never had to worry about putting gas in any of my vehicles, thats been the least of my worries. Why do so many cry about it? I laugh at people that do, so does my dad, he finds people crying about gas funny too. Gas prices are going to go up, soon they'll be $4 a gallon, who gives a rats ass, you need it, you're gonna buy it like it or not. Not everyone is going to settle on a silly econobox car like so many tasteless people do nowadays. I'm not, I have pride in what I drive.

Thats all I have to say, flame me all you want, there are the facts, like em or hate em....

whatever man, as I said Many MANY times the Average person not us on here, and not everyone is rich to be dropping 100 bucks on gas a week like you apparently are, everyone has missed my point except two people, 800 times I can say its not just about HWY mileage, yet everyone brings up HWY mileage, I get it, you all have GM burnt into your DNA and don’t think anything else, could have an H1 and say you can still squeeze out grand HWY mile numbers, good for you, great, grand, glad you don’t give a rats ass about Gas mileage, but most of America does hence why everything went in the toilet, I never complained about my mileage I know I need to give the car a tune up, but again and again what is the Point of having a Sports Car, if you don’t drive it like a sports car? drive it the way its meant to be drive, take the blinders off, im done with the thread, everyone is giving me a f'in migraine you are all right, gas mileage is nothing to consider, lets all say F the world and get Vettes cause you know they can get a mix of 25 MPG and a H1 and of course the Fastest car in the world the Grand Prix woooo(which for a 6 gets pretty good G/m)
