Not for a guy like me. You open enough hoods and you'll understand what was changed. Then you can dazzle the GP world when you know what fits which platform.
Take a bit of time and play around at a junkyard. Look over the LeSloppers and realize they are basically Bonnevilles that could never get a SC. Park Aves are essentially the same as a Riviera, the Goober Patrol, Gimpala, Regal and Monte Crisco were all the same.
Swapped the drivers power seat track for a manual one.
All to save a few pounds.
The additional hose port is blocked on yours. Reason for that hose was a different transmission that used the hose for the modulator. Something that your transmission does with an electronic soleniod and it's one of it's biggest problem areas.
Almost forgot. Rolled past 220K this am in the GTP. Cleaning the 02's HUD and swapping it in was a win, I could read mph going directly into the sun today. Bill, what acronyms u got for Audi? I'll hafta noodle on that, ha.
My HUD has issues sometimes. Every once in awhile, I will be driving at night and the HUD will just die. Can hardly see the numbers on it. I'll try turning it off and back on and no luck. Then the next day it works perfect. Any idea?
