Might get it close to being together sunday. If I get time after working on everyone else's stuff.
I think navy02 was wondering about putting a 40th / SE spoiler on a GT lid and I had said I think they bolt up same but spoiler holes are different. Like if you did that there would be two holes left uncovered so I was gonna look at the two next to each other to confirm. Ima swap decklid and all if thats the case.
Sure did consider just bringin those rails home and using rattle cans because black. Been hangin in here too much lol. But I left em at the shop so I would use real primer and paint and not be tempted to hurry and get them on. I need to try the hose clamp thing I heard u mention for my saggy tips. And I need to fix up my old GT its callin my name. Started it up and temporarily robbed a wheel off it today. Still a nice car there just needin time and attention.
The holes are in different spots plus you would probably need to re paint under the old spoiler anyway so might as well just repaint an decklid with the SE spoiler on it already or get an SLP Gen 2 if you want a different look.

Yeah after all that I'd get a deck lid/spoiler together from a 40th. Then pay to get it painted somewhere, not sure what that would cost, probably in the $100 range
Do the prep yourself if you can probably cut down on the cost.

Tips would be first though, I can do all that on my own. I basically want the 40th tips but will take a similar aftermarket, Russ it looks like the outlets on yours are larger than the 40th tips right?
Yeah 3.5 which fill then cutouts perfectly with no cutting.
Also idrivejunk, I belive I used 3.5 hose clamps and used a jack to position the muffler then put the clamp on and tightend it and it worked flawlessly.

I've been working the worlk truck hard today and tonight.
This morning it was driving thru some questionably wet fields and got all muddy, to doing it again this afternoon and covered in dust and now hauling around a full probox.
Maybe if I have some free time next week I'll sweep it out and give it a bath.
Checked the trip odo.....I've put 600 miles on in 1 week. 2 tanks of gas. I need to reset the trip next fill so I can check the mpgs. Be nice to know how far I can go when the tank gets to certain marks.
Flat black grille for the Regal. Thoughts? Waiting on a new emblem to come in and it'll go on.
Slap her on a see how it looks.

I'll throw it on tomorrow in the light.
I probably pissed off the GP because I brought the work truck home and washed it again. It has gotten more love than both of my cars put together the past few weeks. Sad part is the truck will end up being covered in bugs within an hour or so tomorrow with the road trip I am going on. At least the road trip is to pick up something for the GP.![]()
C0035 abs code. says right front tone wheel. and o'reilly's says its the front right... but looking online.. ppl are saying its the front left... so anyone have any info on this if it is the front right or is it the left?
