Sunday I replaced the coolant elbows and waterpump before I had any major problem (2008 @ 100k miles). Elbows may have been leaking a bit but looked in good condition. Water pump I only replaced because a shop said the pulley had some play. Overall, the job went well except I hadn't mentally prepared to take off the plastic guard on the underside. Between that and battling the hose clamp on the lower radiator hose - I got the worst of the project over right away!
de greased my pig of a engine.
washed it then wiped it down with some black box detail spray. i like this stuff.
im voting my car best looking 30 footer on the site lmao i kill me.![]()
^I thought you were Mr. superstock? I see a K&N plopped in there. That's a mod!

if your car whines and its not the p/s pump, let it be heard!!!!!!
Just drove the GP to work and back (a whole 8 miles total.) I stopped and put $108 in gas in my work truck though. I just put $75 in gas in it on Monday or Tuesday too.
next mod will be a fully built engine being dropped in to it lol
Dropped my heads off at the machine shop to get the valves put in
Washed off my baby for go-to-funeral duty. They are burying Andy in his work shirt so I'm wearin mine. Black cotton and a goth GP feels about right.

I finally got around to getting my heat extractors installed on the car. I bought them for 100 and spent 200 getting the door handle, license plate filler, and heat extractors painted. I did not get a hole cut in the hood, got them sanded down and painted and put on with that red tape. I also picked up a couple of decals for them.![]()

i left it off the car, so tomorrow its back to wet sanding and bufing and back on the car.
also removed my aftermarket crap fog lights. nasty looking f er's
and then brought my head lights back to life, 400 to 800 to 1000 grit, then compound and a buffer.

Loaded it up with the rest of my stuff, and getting out of dodge. So far she's holding together since I've been maxing out the struts with heavy loads.
Drove it to work , ABS keeps coming on but only when going like 10 or 5 mph weird, no ABS light or anything except when it came on last week but then it went out. Maybe it stored it or something. Is the ABS module is taking a poo I'll figure our how to just remove or disable it.
Also got the new title for it.
