Thread: What did you do to your Car today?

I have to stick with canned tunes, no one local to me at all. I've looked, lol. I constantly scan for KR, it built into the stereo...if the car is running, it's being monitored. I have it setup to monitor LTFT, STFT, misfires on all 6 cylinders, vacuum, coolant temp, transmission temp, and KR. Anything else I should have it setup to scan?

I added timing and IATs, at least go overkill for a can tune.

A customer wanted head gaskets done on a 3800. It ran horrible and bubbles kept coming from the overflow tank so that's all the evidence they needed. Well the rad cap was actually defective, but wasn't causing the running issue obviously. The cooling system was just about empty, someone probably overheated it.
Anyway I got to pull the intake and heads off it, so that's cool. I'm a little more confident to do the intake gaskets on our impala this summer. All the exhaust manifold nuts came off pretty easy, it is an 06 though.

You're right Kyle. I see that now. Regardless though they look a hell of a lot better! Exhaust videos now!

Exhaust vids tomorrow after work. Its nothing special tho.

Russ's philosophy, buys tons of stickers, led tails, exhaust tips and mufflers... But still doesn't do the most inexpensive mod he can do and wash that damn car..

I had a god awful day..... went out to Marshall, MN to visit a school for grad school.. it's 3 hours one way.. it was rainy and just ****ty.. i had to get up and leave by 7am too... so on my way out there.. so far so good... go through this little ass town... and i see a state trooper... and he pulled behind me... i knew the dude was gonna pull me over.. and of course.. cherry's roll.. pull off the street.. comes up and says... ya ya ya... your tint is too dark.. yep. .i know... and you can't have your stickers on the front or back windows.... wait what??? never have ever been told that... my banner is within 6 inches from the top of my windshield.. and my nike swoosh in my back window is tiny... neither of them blocking his or my view... says that the stickers are illegal and need to be transparent... BULL ****! so i got a ticket for my tint and a warning for my stickers... go and visit the school on my way home... i see another State trooper.. i meet him... i see his break lights... ****! i pull off the road and just wait cause i knew he was gonna wanna talk to me about my tint or some ****..... nope... first thing he says is... you were going a little fast... wait what?? whats the speed limit?? wasn't it 60?? nope.. oh.. i thought it was... wasn't it back on 23 or whateveR?? yeah.. oh..well i was going about 67 thinking it was 60.. my bad... gives me a ticket for speeding... ****! 2 tickets in two days.. .**** you mn state patrol.... ****.. fuccking awful day... 245 bucks later... i'm selling my car.. cause i'm not taking my tint off.. or i'll leave the state.. .****.. **** this bull ****...

well it was his fault on the tint tho. but speeding think he told a buddy of his to tag you as well for some bs just to piss you off. cop have the numbers and the trust of the judges so you boned buddy sorry
