Ok keep in mind this is not my question, but im asking for a friend of mine:

The car is a stock 2000 Grand Prix GTP.

" I had to stomp on my brakes this morning hard. ABS didnt work, I slid. I have no codes, its been scanned with an ABS scanner. Street was dry and level. It just locked the wheels. And ideas? Thanks in advance."

Most cars with abs can lock them up. ABS works better when the one tire slips and the other still has traction. If both tires locked there is no speed difference between the two.
