well the people were kinda nice so i'll feel bad trying to get money from them. me and my gf had to be at the hospital most of the day. but that was just my idea because i didnt want her being hurt and not saying something. but i think were both fine. and idk. sometimes i'll look at it and it looks fixable... then most of the time it looks horrible. sucks that bluebook will be crap, so i wont get anything. i'll probably get less then what i paid for headers.... and i only got pacesetters

gay! so i go from a nice gtp to whatever i can get with the most likely 800 bucks from the wreck. that i probably wont get for months. well to be honest never been in a wreck. but from i know. people stretch it all out and it can be forever till i get th esmall amount.

ouch sorry to hear that. looks totaled to me unfortunately. hope you an your gf are alright. start takin pieces off that you can that are gonna get you some cash. thats what my buddy did that totaled his 98. he sold his K&N and the floor mats and some stuff like that to get some money out of it. then insurance gave him 4000. he rearended someone and totally screwed the front end. you may get more than you think out of it. good luck to you.

Nice people or not they trashed your ride dude, I wouldn't feel the least bit worried about them paying to get you fixed up. Call me an ass, but thats what I think. They'd be lucky I wouldn't come unglued if anything. Sounds like they were cool about the situation and took responsiblity for there actions. I commend them for that.

As for the car, i bet anything its totalled, they won't fix that. Besides, it would never be right again on that side, better hope its totalled for less headahces.

sad thing is (I) was only going 5 mph.... show's how fast they were going. and the more i think about it, even if they offer me crap cant i kinda argue and get the adjuster guy to raise the amount? if i was going to sell i would have wanted a decent amount. i had a pretty new trans, headers,and a couple small things. that there is well over 2k. which i have a feeling they wont even offer that. im trying to go into this situationg knowing as much as i can. dont wanna get screwed because i know they'll try when they realize im a 19 year old kid.

youre going to have to buy it back from the insurance company if you want to pull those parts off.

i got 2600 for my front end crash a couple years back, i would expect around that for the car.

well bluebook says for private seller i would sell for 3100 for good condition. 3400 for excellent. it HAD a small scrap on the bottom of the front bumber and a little scratch on the trunk. so i guess it'd be good condition. and only way i'd buy it back would be if i got enough from the other peoples insurance to buy something cool to throw the motor in. bio was your old one a 98 also?

didnt even see your post. yea me and her are ok. yea. this girl was going like 35-40'ish and slammed on her brakes right at the stop sign and slid into me without slowing down at all since it was raining. im just going to see what they offer me. im heading off to bootcamp for the navy in 11 months anyway... but still want a decent car
