Well yeah.
And there you go.
Jeff
Jeff...are you seeing something there?
No worries guy.. Jeff used Ford check valves on his!
Then wat are the other 2 lines off the t on top of the supercharger for u guys dnt have to b a dick about it god so I thought they where to sumthing else everyone makes mistakes ya kno
I did man I fixed them the way the diagram shows but I still have one that nothings hooked to its the one closes to the break booster hose do I just need to block it off?
that one goes to the vac line thats clipped to the fire wall, then runs down the pass side fender, its what controls your hvac air flow.
see the line in the pic to the fire wall?
one more pic whore of the bee lol
You have to kinda wish Scotty warned you that sunglasses would be needed before looking at his picture I bet.
it's 10x better than my dirty oily engine in a dirt filled hole...lol ...i got so much crud and oil built up i can't tell where the leaks are. got 2 cans of oven cleaner i need to cut loose in there.
ok I got it all fixed the way your pic looks an the diagram I ran it an it was worse now its only showing like 1.2psi at wot heres a link to the pic let me kno if I did sumthing wrong again http://s292.photobucket.com/user/BLA...tml?sort=3&o=1
it came like that! Lol. I've only had the car since late April.
Guys I'm not very familiar with the pre 04' models and I have only worked on NA versions of the 3.8 Buick engine. The thing that's throwing me is I have several different Gen 3 blowers and some have the little vacuum tree that is held down by 1 bolt and another that the area is not used. So I'm at a little bit of a disadvantage on this system. I did notice the vacuum in the previous pic had one tube piped back to the same place.
ill have to look at it some more.
Hold on wait a second... The pic on photobucket looks like you have a vacuum line going to the bypass solenoid, that should be coming from the manifold pressure side. Looks to me as though you have the bypass actuator fighting itself.
Jeff
yea I seen that I unhooked it now its running back to around 5.5 6 psi but the belts slipping bad u can hear it squeal at wot so pretty sure the belts slipping but I got it all back the way the diagram an the yellow motor looks I really appreciate it guys
on the lower vac tree, you got two lines there, wheres the lower one going to? im thinking somethings not right bbv to actuator tot he tree.
the pfr vac lines goes to the vac tree. ( it will work hooked up to the nipple under the snout tho, (if thats how its ran) under the snout goes to the map only, and your boost gauge.
theres two ports on the bbv, one goes to the actuator
the side view of the bbv and its actuator and that line. theres two ports there, one stays open its got a funny looking clip there, it used to hold that foam you see in this pic, yours is likely long gone. if its gone, its fine. most of use dont have it any more.
