Ok guys 97 gtp here's the problem: drove the car yesterday and every time I put my foot on the gas my KR climbed higher and higher so that scared me a little... i have engine vibration but that might be from the exhaust not all the way bolt to the resonator could that be setting false knock? Changed the oil once after everything was put back together do I need to do another oil change? Also modded fuel rails leak where the brass lines connect from both sides.. I changed the O Rings still nuthin any suggestions? Thanks guys!

Did you use teflon tape on the threads before you tightened it down?

I'm pretty sure I warned you about this...not to rub it in...but yeah, I guess I am. Double check the fittings on the fuel rail. If using compression fittings, make sure you cranked the hell out of them.

I would use a typical tubing wrench...just tighten then as tight as you possibly can.

Well, the KR climbing could still be fuel related or tune related or whatever. I didn't follow the build thread in depth, but I'll skim through it and see what I come up with. Maybe there's something that was missed.

What fuel rails do you have?

Tightening them as much as you can, makes me cringe.

Agreed, I hope you keep a fire extinguisher around.

You shouldn't need Teflon tape for those compression fittings, ensure that the surfaces are clean and undamaged, you may just need a new braided hose

Im not driving the car as of now being I just found the problem... I have 2 braided hoses but one is smaller and wont fit over the blower I might have grab a new one like so though overkill I know you do countless tunes for our motors could this be why KR climbs when I put my foot on gas just to accelerate?

How high a KR are you seeing and what size injectors and pulley are you running??

You shouldn't need to use teflon tape on them, but they shouldn't be leaking. I'd take the braided line off, clean all the fittings really well, wrap the male fittings with a little teflon tape, and reinstall. Mine I go until they are snug, then just a little bump, never once had a leak.

Those IC lines aren't being pinched ontop of the coil pack are they? First spin I took after my IC install, I hadn't purged all the air out of the IC so it was basically useless. Saw 13* of knock on part throttle. Purged all the air, now I'm seeing 0.
