ZZP claims the base z3 Kit would take an L26 from 200 to 300 crank hp. %20 power loss through the transmission... 300 *0.2 = 60. 300-60 = 240. Thats were I got that estimate from.

I never said that you needed plogs. He just asked about them. you don't need the Hv3 either to run the kit.

He doesn't have to put it all on at once. If he did it on the L32 he would have plenty of time to do it before he puts it in.

Ok no ones said it so I will. For 300whp on an l32 an ic isn't mandatory. While it would help a ton its also a ton of money, and that power level is pretty easy to hit without one

i would really like to figure out how to rewire an L32/L26 to run a manual throttle cable. if our vehicles dont have on-star, i dont see any reason why the fly by wire throttle should be necessary.

    ...does this even mean.

You claim you know so much because you own FOUR 3800 powered cars. Yet everytime I ask you how something works in your mind you avoid the question.

So...for the entire forum, please tell us how ONSTAR controls the DBW TB cars.

^^^lol it calls the police when you hit a tree.

just try to find a newer car these days that isn't fly by wire, hell big rigs like peter builts are fly by wire too and mack trucks. everything is, it must be doing something right or we'd all have cables still, and i've personally never had fbw fail me yet.

this guy is killing me daily with these posts.

This is worse then when people say they can react faster then traction control. There isn't a damn thing wrong with the fbw systems. Never has been, never will be

    Thank you.

    Exactly.

OnStar cuts power to the entire grid of the car...not just killing the throttle.

not just? so youve inherently stated that it does kill the throttle, but thats not all it does? correct?
