Check over your vac lines real good, and test for vac leaks. Not sure about the '04+ tb's, but if you have an IAC on there, you may want to remove and clean it up (don't mess with the position of it, just remove, clean, and reinstall, moving the plunger around is bad).

if your at 100,000 miles or past it, your due for a tune up anyway. get iridium plugs and store brand wires with a warranty.

Did it start running normal immediately when you cleared the code? I know throttle body codes will cause that. That's the only code you had?

took it to the shop where I get my work done on my car and the guy said he couldn't find anything wrong and he said the little sputter noise is from my mufflers because they have no backpressure and said I can drop the car off Monday night for Tuesday morning to see why the car runs rough in the morning on startup

how are you checking for vac leaks? cause that sounds like a vac leak.

spray the vac lines with carb cleaer, if the idle jumps up you found the broken line area.

you got two line off the front rad side of the TB that Y tends to break. or just the rubber ends to the Y or to the TB, thats a 500 rpm surge easy, its a large leak if its a vac leak. move the lines up and down while you spray, and listen for a hissing/sucking sound.

if that Y is broken or its lines to it, you can cut off the rubber end to the hard line off, get a foot of new vac line and Y stem at the parts store and replace the two lines to the TB as well. you may have to get a fatter hose for the TB then push some thinner hose inside the fat one to reduce the line to fit the the Y stem.

    its a 3 dollar fix
