Is it possible for a ZZP stage 1 pcm (6100rpm shift points) to cause too high of pressures and break a forward band? Should I put the stock PCM back in?

I have had 3 different transmissions, forward bands break. No parts went from one to the next. The only thing that was the same from one to the next was the zzp pcm.

Every thing to do with each transmission was stock.

New TEP stage 2 trans just went into the car. Without knowing what was causing the bands to break, should I continue to use the ZZP PCM or put the stock one back in?

Ill be the first to admit that I know little to nothing about transaxles and PCM's. That being said, I need some honest advise. I have read through several posts that are similar but not the same so im not sure that I can make an educated choice based on them. I dont want to f--k up my newly built TEP trans because of something I could have simply done or changed.

If this has all been answered in another post, then I apologize. But please dont just ignore me. Point me in the right direction. Give me the link or just tell me the post title so I can find it and know that its relevant. I appreciate it. Thank you.

The high shift rpm won't cause the break, nor will that tune have enough line pressure to make the band break.

ok cool. Tim at ZZP told me that it couldnt have been caused by the PCM but I just wanted to get other opinions about it.
Any ideas about what could be causing the same problem with 3 completely different transmissions?
Its not that I dont believe him. Its just that it seems like too big of a coincidence to make any sense to me.

Can you give us your driving habits? Do you come to a stop b4 going from reverse to drive?

Question....Did Dave put in a shift kit? Reason why I ask is if he did, then you should *probably* look into something that uses the stock pressure settings for the transmission. It may feel cool to have snappy shifts, but it's hard on parts.

    Just a thought.

Don't worry, I opted for the "mild" shift kit. I don't like it snappy lol. It shifts nice. Firm but not whiplash.
