Stock airbox flows plenty for a stock car.

I put.an intake on mine just for the sc wine. I highly doubt that it has any performance effects... Just makes you think your faster since you are now making all kinds of racket under the hood.

At the end of the day, you are not changing the throttle body, maf, intake mani, or exhaust so you can put a 5inch intake with a 4 ft ling filter and it won't do anything for you

liar, the 4ft air filter could last a lifetime before it needs to be cleaned

The point is, for a N/A GP GT, the stock airbox is MORE than sufficient.

However when you go supercharged you're now pushing about 25-35% more airflow and a better solution would then be needed.

OP you said sooner or later youre getting a tuned PCM and possibly headers?
    get the intake.
youre going to need it with headers anyways. plus you have nothing to lose by getting it.

Some people are such jackasses. If you like it, or want it, go for it brother. Don't let anyone else tell you what to do to your car, or how to live your life. Damn.

None that I can see. ****, it's a GP, may as well have some fun with it before we all start driving hybrids and electric toy cars...

make your own little intake. for teh noise. sounds like a vaacum cleaner on indle, but has a deeper tone on WOT.

now if you want you car to be faster and stuff.... either shell out the money for a turbo kit, or get a gtp. topswap isnt worth it, any boltons on the n/a are useless.

The first "real" mod i did to my SE was an intake, in my head it made it quicker...lol. I'd say its worth it, ya gotta start somewhere.
I didnt go with a HAI tho.Its not hard to make a fenderwell intake, and colder air makes a little more power...even if it is neglegable

I like how this is in "visual modifications". It makes sense in this case.

It definitely didnt hurt anything. What it did help, is replacing the stock filter every few oil changes. Now you can just remove your filter and clean it off.

03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.
