No haters please, This is an honest question.. My grandma said the car sounds awful now that it has the cold air intake, I personally like it but are there any actual gains to a stock 3800?
and if there is no huge affects, What can I do to give the CAI a purpose?
Tomorrow I plan on getting the ubend delete or possibly headers, but I'm not sure what else..
and I im not talking about a top swap either, If I wanted a gtp .. I'd get one lol, but in all honesty.. what do you guys think? I'd like some help

"sounds awful" ? if you mean the exhaust is louder then thats normal because the car is not starving for air anymore

No, HAI intake is fine. I have a HAI intake on my GTP, basically everyone who builds their own has a HAI... but ebay Small filter FTL. Go get a big spectre filter from Autozone cause its cool.

I've got a stock Gp, and i put on an intake the other day, i already notice a small diff in acceleration and you can tell the car is getting more air and is happier

Other than making noise and it being slightly poserish because you don't have a blower. Nope.

    I know i am, Nick..

The point is without a tune and other mods to go with it it's really kinda pointless.

Stock airbox flows plenty for a stock car.

I put.an intake on mine just for the sc wine. I highly doubt that it has any performance effects... Just makes you think your faster since you are now making all kinds of racket under the hood.

At the end of the day, you are not changing the throttle body, maf, intake mani, or exhaust so you can put a 5inch intake with a 4 ft ling filter and it won't do anything for you
