I think some of you need to rethink the "LT1's are junk" idea, my LT1 runs mid to low 13's with only bolt-ons (LT's,catback, CAI, ect.), in street trim. Don't get me wrong I love my GTP, and it is a quick car, but dollar to dollar for mods, it wouldn't hold a candle to an LT1.
I've seen many street driven/legal LT1 cars that put well over 700 rwhp down on the dyno. This is at far less cost than it would take to put an L67 or L32 car into the same hp territory.
Not hatin' on the Prix's, like I said I love mine, but the LT1 engine is definately not junk, and shouldn't be underestimated.![]()
