I've got a few quick ones for you.

Customer is down and we sell them a new 400hp motor to get them back online. We take their old burnt up motor and set up to do a complete rewind because its toast. A few days later they call to tell us the brand new motor we sold them burnt up. Owner and service call guy both try to tell them they have an electrical problem because there is no way 2 good motors are just going to burn up in the exact same way. They insist we are idiots and don't want to pay for the new motor, nor the work on the rebuilt one because we don't know what we are doing. Mind you, our company has been in business over 50 years.

They buy another motor off another company and, guess what? It burns up the EXACT SAME WAY. They take the rebuilt motor and it burns up. They still insist the problem is with the motors.
