Do a 6 channel and bridge the last 2 channels. That ZED leviathan would have worked out great for your setup. Too bad I800Collect already sold it.

That's probably a general guide to their subs... that's a huge range, if you do 180w you on a 600w RMS sub you're not going to hear too terribly much.

Are you just going single sub?

So I see. I was taking a look at that sub you picked out. Looks like its rated at 500w RMS. Doesn't mean you have to be there, but somewhere in the upper half of that range 300w+ would be good. Secondly, with that DVC of 2-ohms you can either wire it at 1ohm or 4, this is good and bad. If you can find an amplifier thats stable at 1 ohm, this is great. However, most are not therefor wiring at 4ohms is going to half the power to your speaker than wiring at 2 ohms (most amplifiers are stable at 2-ohms).

Long story short. If you can find a 1 ohm stable amplifier, this is the right speaker. If you can't, buy the P3D4-12 woofer so you can wire it at 2 ohms.
    Infinity all around.

Look, with an unregulated power supply, as you half the ohms or resistance of a speaker, you double the power. So, for instance, if the amplifier is stable at 1 ohm at 600w, then at 2 ohm it would only output 300w and at 4 ohm only 150w. So, if you can't find an amplifier stable at 1 ohm, then your going to have to wire it up to the amplifier at 4 ohm, instead of 2 ohm with the other speaker.

So... your either limited to amplifiers stable at 1-ohm or going to have to buy some monstrosity and expensive amplifier to supply the 400+ wattage at 4-ohms. Thus taxing your electrical system and maybe requiring the big 3 upgrade. See what I mean? We went from getting the other sub to getting an expensive amplifier..... big 3 wiring.... aftermarket alternator.... it gets expensive quickly.

As for the tweets, hook them up to your head unit or something... You don't really need them. The components you bought are going to have more than enough high, I promise. Your weakest link is going to midrange-midwoofer. Not high or low low.

I'm not sure what you've already purchased for your amps, but this link is worth you checking out. Seem to be decent amps at a great price for the power.

EDIT: Scratch that, I forgot we are talking about subs, not amps. Its gonna require 600w rms no matter what impedance you run it at. I would get the amp you want, then match the sub to that amp.
I don't really want to explain how or why but if you find a GT series 5 channel amplifier(and I found plenty last night, just not the GT-50...GT-5750(sp?) came up though) then you'll be just fine. Again, if you want to understand more about power etc. then google is your friend. But I can promise you that 300watts vs. 600 watts isnt' the end of the world and only equates to ~3db increase which tests have shown is the bare minimum in perceived change of sound output.

    fyi... Mono Amplifiers

That should start some head scratching He use to rate his huge-normous SPL amp at 15 watts. Don't forget about the "under-rated" 50watt amps of the 90's winning SPL competitions Ever seen 150+ db's w/500watts? Well 300 watts probably wouldn't hurt the output of that setup too much either ;P

    edit: 1ohm = sad face

I've heard that amp to be inconsistent long term and if you plan to hit 1ohm you're definitely stressing the power supply. There's a myriad of reasons NOT to run 1ohm.
