Well I got it working, no problems.... Wanted, did you check your solders and for loose connections? Does the jack you have have a clear window on it so you can see the action to know for sure when you plug in a jack it is BREAKING a connection and MAKING a new one?
And sorry to state the obvious, but none of your wires are touching are they? I'm sure you insulated each one separately...
The mistake I almost made was cutting into the tan wire instead of the brown and white one... I don't know what else to tell you as far as troubleshooting.
Koniig... if it has the XM, does it have the separate harness of like 5 wires? If it does I don't see why it wouldn't work but don't know...
I went looking for the 1/8 headphone jack using the part# stated and could find it but I did find it as part# 274-246. Here is the link
