so I bought this programmer and I have a couple questions hopefully someone could shed some light on...

first, when I push the pedal all the way the LCD is reading the TPS is only at 89% not 100%. could this mean I have a vacuum leak or is this normal?

it also reads 56% for the MAP/MAF at WOT... could this also be caused from a leak?

I do know that my EGR is leaking and I bought the block off plate to install just curious as how to do so? do I just pull of the canister and unplug the wires then just block it off? or do I have to disconnect the wires from the source and remove all other parts? is there possibly a write up about this I've searched the forums but cant find anything on it.

Thanks in advance for any info

You may need to just adjust your throttle cable.

TPS should read closer to 99 or 100. Try holding the throttle open with your hand under the hood and see if you get a higher number.

You might be able to at the pedal iirc you can't at the TB I think, but you would have to look at it. Also you can pull the intake tube and the screen off the TB and verify its not opening all the way by looking in the TB. Might need a mirror or use the camera on your phone.

So when you hold the TB wide open it's not reading 100%?

I don't know if you can, look on the pedal or on the TB if not replace the cable.

Maybe your TPS is bad, but I would think that usually has other symptoms.
