It was set that way from the factory i got mixed up. So if i am not in PE mode at 30% throttle i have to be missing something really badly what my eyes see. i have it set to 100 right now so dont get into PE. I was also told that the VE table does not matter for This car unless the MAF fails, is that true or does it matter?

I wouldnt have it set to 100%.

If you ever got on it, the fuel wouldnt be there and thats bad news for the motor, but set it to 35% and dont get on it much until you can figure this out.

I never saw a need to VE tune these cars for what I was after, it felt like a huge waste of time to me.

And you are pretty much correct if the MAF ever failed it would use the VE tables.

You might be best to start all over and go from there.

I read this before i left work to get me a couple scans, AEM uego - HP Tuners Bulletin Board. then redid my wideband pid. this is what i got on two different scans

first scan-Download Zuyovy maf 6.hpt for free on uploading.com
first tune-Download MAF 6.hpl for free on uploading.com

second tune-Download ZUYOVY MAF 7.hpt for free on uploading.com
second scan-Download MAF 7.hpl for free on uploading.com

towards the end of the second scan i did reenable Pe and gave it a 80% throttle to see how it did. Will need to richen it up alittle

I may suggest that you not give advice on stuff you have little working knowledge of... I understand you are just trying to help but your advice is quite specific and misguided when these questions are being asked.

Ok, is the Link a problem or is it a proper way to tune the wideband?

    You don't tune the wideband.

You're only supposed to use it as a guide when WOT tuning.

If you had an accurate one, then it'd be a different story.

Ok, set up is the words i should have used instead. I am still trying to make sure that it is in the ballpark so i dont hurt the engine. I am new to the tuning side of stuff and i am learning as i go. I will ask lots of questions becuase there is so much info on this site.
