Thanks! I was pretty happy with how it turned out. I have a few tulip bulbs started at home to take up there once the get a bit bigger. There are a few places in the middle between the grasses that need filled in. As far as what things are, we have no idea....lol. Waiting until things bloom to see what will stay or go. The stuff to the left in the main landscaping is big and shrubby...thinking I want to pull most of them and switch to hasta's. Nice and easy/low maintenance.
We are also going to outline the whole perimeter of the house in river rock. And all the red lava rock to the left is going buhbye...that stuff sucks.
There are a few tree's that are dead and need to come down. Will probably have AEP drop them as they are super close to surrounding power lines and neighbors houses.
Then there is the deck on the back of the house which needs taken down and then we will have to redo that. Add a bigger concrete pad and get some grass planted.
I think that will be a more later summer project tho. Lee is getting busy with farming and I am getting busy with work, so thankfully the house is to a point to where we don't have to be constantly working on it.
Other than that, we are just waiting on flooring now. The flooring place comes next Monday to start install on the vinyl and then carpet. So hopefully mid to end of next week, that will be done. Then its the final furniture buying and furnishing the rest of the house with every day needs and such. The other big thing we have to do is get all the new trim bought and installed. The house will be rocking the no-trim look for awhile.
Has anyone bought window blinds lately? OMG, talk about expensive. We decided to go with the new cellular blinds....We only bought 3, out of the 8 we need and it was $200.
Home ownership is anything but cheap or easy.
your welcome!! Just wait tell things strat breaking for no good reason. when my fokes bought there first duplex they had to wrap it into a 203K loan (ie fixer upper loan). they had to replace the roof floors new paint on the out side things kept on adding up. The roof alone was 40,000. They put comp shake that will be on there for 40 years.
I don't wanna graduate.. these weekends are something else... making a couple freshmans night amazing one weekend at a time!

I dig the stang wheel look too, it would kind of tie in the grey down on the bumpers. I have another idea i need to photo-edit for grins but NObody will like it
The last hour has been so horrible lol. I want this day to be done.
washed my work truck today.. holy hell she was dirty.. almost looked yellow by comparison to its now white LoL
I need to bring my work truck home one night and clean it up well and clean out the inside.
I was a busy boy today though. Got up at 7, went to work from 8-12. While at work we busted out 58 hoses. Left work, went to Staples to pick up a clipboard and tablet for work and a can of air to clean my PC. Came home tore the PC apart and cleaned it. It was WAY overdue for a cleaning. It is so much quieter now. Made myself some wings, ate those. Went out and mowed the yard. Cleaned the mower up and put it away. Ran out to the dollar store to pick up some tire and wheel cleaner (which I found out later I didn't need because I had some under the sink, instead of in the shed where it belongs.) I came back and washed the car really good and wiped it down so the water didn't spot. I just finished putting everything away and am going to call it a night.
Sounds like youve had a busy day lol. but productive.
I also just bought something for russo online for his car, and he's been trying to guess what it is for the last 3 hours lol. He almost restored to going onto my bank account to look LOL
Got motor number 1 pulled today. Pulling the second motor Tuesday and dropping it in. 4 hours to pull a motor and it was my first time. Not too shabby.
