So got hughesnet all setup today only to find out the 10gb a month is really split in half with two different time periods durring the day. Needlessn to say tomorrow I will be canceling them and switching to exede. Bunch of crap, guy on the phone never told me that nonsense huge deal breaker. At least I got 30 grace period before the contract actually starts.

OK, rant time.
APPLE is a bunch of unamerican communist fu*ks. My buddy bought a new iPod touch from our ship store (I'm deployed at the moment) to use in the gym because he dropped his and it broke. Well we went to sync it to his computer...and guess what. It won't with out the iPod being registered first. We don't have internet for our personal laptops on ship, and cannot connect them to a government computer. So pretty much, he's up a fu*king creek without a paddle. And he can't return the iPod for a refund here. If anyone has a fix for this or knows a way around it please share. We emailed Apple and pretty much got told to stick a di*k up our a*s. So apple, this is the reason it's been almost 5 years since i bought an Apply product, and guess what, i never freaking will again.

Can you register them without it being plugged into a computer like with a SN or something? If so one of us probably do that for ya but younthink they would be able to do it overthe phone if you could. I'll look it up tomorrow, that sucks tho. Apple is a bunch of commies tho. I'll never buy apple again.

Last time I checked it had to be done through a computer..seems like every company things that everyone has access to a personal computer and the internet which is not always the case.

nope they said it has to be done on a computer so the iPod will know that it is registered. that's how they explained it to me

I think he could send it to a buddy or something and have he/she register it then once that's done he can sync it to his computer.
