Ummm, don't tell that to my GF... shes actully enjoys racing at the race track with 2 baby seats in the back seat! She likes embarrassing Mustang guys by beating them with a family car with baby seats. It actully kinda funny, I get a kick out of it myself.
As for me expecting a street race, why should I worry about unloading my car everytime I make a run and what not? I like the old saying run what you brung personally.
I have never went out on the street with the intention of racing and while I'll play occasionally, I just am not the person to come home and decide Im going to go out and race and so I need to prep the car.
I agree with this 100%. I think it would be dumb for me to go home and say, "ok my car runs XX w/ slicks, race gas, gutting, since i'm going out to look for racing tonight, i need to prep my car" Thats so stupid IMO. Almost ricerish.
I personally just want to get in the thing, go drive, maybe have a little fun but know what I am capable of from having run laps at the track.
I agree. It would be easier just knowing what the damn car is capable of, and simply hopping in it and taking a spin.
I used to be hard core into street racing, not anymore though. I quit for many reasons, especially since my job depends on me being a driver nowadays. Oh well, I had my fun.
