Thanks, Coolio. Hey will the TB off my 02 swap right over sensors and all, onto the 99? Both GTPs.

Might just swap that out then see if I can do something with the broken screw in the 99 TB. Your thread got me thinking.

It occurred to me that Grape (69GP) and I just had a 15th anniversary. Right about now that long ago it still probably had the tri-power on it and was terrorizing my hood without tags because I was in between jobs and had until late January to get it ready for daily driving. Re-did the suspension and stripped the paint in my garage during that time. I got it between holidays at the turn of the century. She deserves something nice this year. Thanks, Grape.

Found while sorting archives. Me and Grape went to Tulsa Raceway in March of 2006. I remember it was fun-

I randomly got it in the mail one day, package had my name on it but I already have the Aeroforce, it works as far as I know, I tested it but wasn't willing to buy the Torque Pro app

Man if you can just throw it real hard maybe you can get it here... I wish. That does look like an item I could use if I buy Torque. If that thang was in my hand I'd buy it... speaking of the app, but also the adapter. I don't think its worth the effort / expense to send here though but again thank you kindly, Aero. If you just can't stand having it... PM for addy. I'm having many more thoughts of selling the GTP than I am of modding it though. Lately, anyway. I just don't care to start messin, y'know? That may change once the sun comes out lol. Booba is gonna be disappointed if I don't hot rod it, but he will understand when we go for a ride in Grape eventually.

Well its OBDII so you can use it in just about anything, not just the GP. And if you have a Bluetooth capable android phone then the only expense is buying Torque Pro. I'd sent it to ya at no cost for how much you help everyone

LOL! OK thanks man, and I'll make it worth your while. Still laughing though... I don't think I provide much of a service here. As entertainment maybe... but I juuust finished sorting my pic stash. HO-LY-CRAP thats a lot of bodywork pics. 16,500+ just in the "jobs" folder. Grape's folder is pushin two gigs even with vids. The GT has a pretty big one too, actually. What a feeling to finally be able to scroll through all those jobs... it makes me weary but the sense of accomplishment is startling. What have I done? lol. Heres something I found that a pro did for free, I do not know why but he does anybody's car.

Speaking of sick, and thanks Kaiser, heres a gory rendition of Betty's story:

This was the air-conditioned gas mileage car that was supposed to change life for the better. Meh but yay, GP! First day-

That was in July 09 and I had just put the 455 in the '69. Betty had 117K and a bad diff so I had the trans rebuilt first thing. Pre-GPF knowledge but yeah. On Christmas morning I learned about ice and ABS and left a mark. Nothing a bodyman can't help disappear, right?

Lesson learned and many happy adventures followed. She grew on me and we went exploring-

Years passed, then came "the smashing times". 2013. I got smashed into in every month starting in J! Damn them. This one had no insurance.

See the Sonic in the first pic background? Going the other direction 6 months later, I was hit again by a lane changer on my left front up by Sonic. Baaad spot!

After all that, I replaced the door. Not a month went by before she got the disabling shot. The guy whipped across five lanes and never saw me going 40. Blasted my suspension so it took her out of the game. It hurt, I was mad.

In this pic you see the flat spotted fender from the June wreck, too.

Yeah maybe not her first rodeo, lots of red paint under the black fender and hood. Still... its wadded up behind that somewhat too.

Thats when I got the 40th and little did I know the worst was yet to come... twice at least. The GTP has been hit the same number of times now and the 40th is scrap for China. Sigh. I live too far from work. Anyway-

Just a little memory trip I dug up while sorting pics. But thats a tough car, man. She went through a lot to be sitting in front of my house now all shiny still and showing only two big dents. The suspension is still kinda blasted but well, read back a ways here if you wanna know about that. The world is cruel to shiny things so travel safely!

Dude take him up on the OBD2 adapter if you can, I'm pretty sure I can get you a copy of Torque Pro.

Has it ever occurred to you to get into derby cars? You kinda seem to have a nack for it on the street, lol. (Kidding)

I took him up on the kind offer. Mama didn't raise no fool! Can you imagine how bad a W- body would do in a derby? Not only would the trans splat but any wheel that gets bumped goes crooked or snaps off. I might do OK on the offensive driving once somebody managed to dip into my rage pool lol.

I'm familiar with that stuff to, probably not so bad though. I made deliveries in Dallas for a couple years in a stake bed Toyota dually.
