That'll come with the new sub box. This was a proof of concept type of thing, and it works flawlessly so far.
So how much usable trunk space is left now?

Just as much as before, we never really used the little space next to the sub box before and that's where this is.
Well I could barely see the LEDs blink a bit under HEAVY stereo, but I just couldn't have that. After discussing everything with Jeff, I went ahead and used more capacitors and diodes. I actually shed a few relays the other day too. Anyways, I ended up using 8x4700uF caps (in parallel) with 8 1.5a diodes (in parallel) to give the lights a little cushion. If there is a sustained heavy bass note the light will still dim very very slightly, but it'll be gradually over 5-6 seconds...hardly noticeable. You guys gotta understand, I'm being extremely anal here. This wasn't the only reason I did this, I wanted the lights to fade out when they shut off, and they do. I'm waiting for a short video to upload...

TRS screwed up yet again, they sent the wrong relay box. a 5 pin relay. At least they got the ballast right...right?
AVT box also got here, I'm setting up drivers for all that as I type on the laptop. I should have that set up just in time to do absolutely nothing with it since I have to goto work in an hour lol
Lol.
AVT box works great, first try no problems. Windows 7 said it was Com 3 when it installed the drivers, so I selected that bingo bango, it connected right up.
Now what.
go for a scan then tweak numbers until the engine blows up
That's the plan when I have time. I 'm working 12 hours days the next 4 days, then going to the JY on Saturday, and my dad is coming down Sunday to spend time with the family lol...I'll find some way to get out there tuning. I'll read up more on everything while I wait for time to tune.
Just to show how many warranty replacements I've had from TRS...

LOL
Really? LOL
Yours don't dim? Strange. Mine dimmed just as the halogens bulbs..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...&v=8FeRS0t4gC8Quote:

They might when they time out, which this will make that dim take A LOT longer, lol. I haven't been out there when they time out since I did this. Whenever I turn them On\Off or lock the car to turn them off, they were instant off. They are still instant on, but fade off.
Ahhh, you want fade off all the time. I see what you are up to now. LOL
I was hoping for fade in, too but I don't see that easily happening since the BCM provides the ground for the LEDs, not the +12v. While the LEDs are bright, going from pitch black to having them on can be a shock lol.
You'll have to add a resistor in series to get them to dim in, but it defeats the Original purpose..
Jeff
Eh, I'll just leave it as is, I like the benefit to the LEDs.
Just flashed my first tune. Scotty doctored up a bin for me just to hold me over until I can get to tuning. ZZP VE tables and a few others. It's on my spare PCM, and I can't get Performance Shift to work. Everything is wired up (car has it stock) and if I put in my original PCM Performance Shift works just fine. Weird. Anyways, I gained a degree of WOT timing (16*) and I have no KR until the top end of second, I see 1*. Fuel trims haven't fully reset yet, but so far my LTFTs are pretty rich. She ****'s a gets, I'll say that. I can't wait to get it fine tuned and see what that does.
Flashed in less than a minute, too.
