    ok guys, sorry it took so long to get back on here... IT's been VERY busy for me. However, I still can NOT get the GTP to run !! SO HELP!!
    I have changed the Black box surrounding the ignition Cylinder (The pass III transponder) then did the relearn procedure about 6 times. And NOTHING !! Still will crank up and run for about 5-10 seconds or so then it dies!! Cranks right back up and does the same thing! what else could it be? anything else I can try ? could the key be bad,if so how could I test it ? could it be a broke wire? ..... I know I am throwing stuff out but.... it's aggravating SORRY

    let it stall see if its got fuel pressure in the rail. leave the key to run after it stalls when you test it.

    try swapping that ring bill talked about in the last page?

    this thing



    how to get to it. your not doing the whole harness, so follow from the column plastic part of the how to.

    thanks Scottydoggs ,but this is what I did change out! I can hear the fuel pump run for the 5-10 seconds whiles hte car is running, then sounds like the fuel pump cuts off (which is what the security is supposed to do right ? ) and like i stated in my earlier post ... I can straight wire the fuel pump and it'll run as long I want it to! So I don't think it's a fuel pump issue.

    not that it matters but....History of the car... it had the dreaded fire from Valve cover leak (so it was running at one time) ... and a buddy if mine replaced wiring harness and computer and since then it's not ran without straight wiring the fuel pump (then it'll run like a raped ape!!) and it will not pass inspections b\c it wont throw a code, so I'm thinking it's all related but it may not be??

    you need to check all the burned wires, thats your issue i bet. something was not fixed, or was fixed wrong, something along them lines.

    so your hard wired to get around and drive the car?

    what code you getting? have it scanned yet. hell it may tell a cool story.

    yes I have hard wired it to drive it (we also have a 99 Grand Prix GT) so we use that tag & drive it.. I've drive it a few days like that & can't get it to throw any codes!!.. so where \ how would I start looking, I mean everything seems to work great except for this one issue

    id run a hidden switch for the power line to the fuel pump, call it theft proof now lol

    find out what that code is, keep driving it till it pops up.

    and still look for a bad wire some where. i think thats the issue's root cause.

    just wanted to THANK EVERYONE that helped me to try to resolve this issue..
    I was able to determine the cause of my issue (which then caused a couple more ha jha ) the original issue was resolved by tracing down the wires coming from the Fuel pump and then finding out that when they changed the wiring harness they never hooked up the fuel pump resistor!! (what a PITA to figure out !!) oh well... now since have it running its cutting out when the supercharger (boost) kicks in!! Also seems like it's not going into 4th (or overdrive) .. SO I maybe back on here asking questions IF i can't figure them out.
    AGAIN THANKS FOR EVERYONE'S help !!!
