I Read the entire thread, i should try to "bleed" air out? i don't really know where this bleeder spot is and i don't think my apartment complex would appreciate coolant everywhere so i have come to the conclusion i am just going to take it to a mechanic.
Thank you for all the help.
ill try to help you if you want the help. But you are not following directions.
Jeff
I don't mean to sound ignorant but my intentions were to learn where these things are and what to do with them with this thread. That is originally why i posted in the first place. The forum title says "noob"
I will be uploading a video of tail pipes, and what the fans are doing when the car is at least at operating temp or higher
and i just showed you where the bleeder screw is. the hose is coming from your radiator to the thermostat housing. the screw on top is where you let the air out...you just give it half a turn or so.
just do what these guys are telling you to do and you'll get it figured out. thats the same hose they were telling you to squeeze and check for pressure earlier. underneath that is where the thermostat is.
If you open it just do it for just a second. Just back it out slowly and then you should get a hiss of air or coolant. If it's coolant close it. Your not trying to drain it.
Also be careful because it's a small brass (soft metal) bolt, it's just the center piece not the outer one that is actually in the aluminum outlet (the grey part).

So when i get home i should try to undo the bleeder screw very slowly to see if air comes, and if its coolant close it up quickly. If air comes do i leave it open?
yes...you want a good stream of coolant running out ..leave it open until so. bubbling out means there's air still.
don't over tighten it
Is it also a good idea to pick up some coolant before i start this process of bleeding the valve?
