I bought a GTP with a cone clamped on and the IAT sensor zip-tied underneath the clamp. Did not create any issues that I found but I didn't leave it that way long. Had an extra airbox with a K&N in it so I installed that. Because to me, the idle hiss is unwanted. I did want to hear the blower whine though, so I made a modification to the existing stock air box since it is not restrictive. This option is visually the most tasteful in my opinion, because you can't see any mod but you sure hear it. Plus you keep the protected box around the computer.
